Handcrafted wood island detail by ATA Custom Cabinets
Our Story

A family workshop building cabinetry for Los Angeles since 1989.

Two generations of craftsmen. One workshop in Canoga Park. Every ATA project is engineered in-house, cut on CNC machines, and finished by hand — the details you can only get from a shop that still cares about the millimeter.

Our scope spans the full commercial track: medical, dental, lab, corporate, hospitality, education, reception areas, tenant improvements, apartment buildings, and storage. On the residential side, we build kitchens, baths, closets, built-ins, and custom furniture for clients who expect commercial-grade durability with luxury finish.

Every project runs through one project lead from brief to install. Drawings are produced in-house with full 3D renderings before a single panel is cut. The same crew that builds your work installs it.

  • Full-service design, build, and installation under one roof
  • CNC precision paired with traditional finish carpentry
  • Premium hardwoods, veneers, and sustainable material sourcing
  • Commercial-grade standards on every residential project

What Clients Say

I couldn't be happier with the experience we had with ATA Cabinets! From start to finish, they were fantastic. Sean and his father were incredibly helpful, informative, and genuinely committed to making sure we got exactly what we wanted. They custom-built our cabinet to perfection, and it turned out just as we envisioned — if not better! Their attention to detail and craftsmanship truly stand out. I highly recommend ATA Cabinets to anyone looking for top-notch service and quality. They exceeded all our expectations!

Niloo K., Kitchen in Woodland Hills

ATA is my go-to cabinetry for my business and personal use. ATA just completed my kitchen remodel and built a custom vanity for our bathroom. Both turned out exquisite. They did a great job of ensuring we were happy with the CAD designs and the install was great. Thanks, ATA!

Thomas A. Kitchen & Vanity in Encino

As a contractor I've used ATA now on at least five different projects and I can honestly say I've built a strong relationship and have grown to trust Sean and his team to work together with me. They are very flexible, and we get updated 3-D drawings of the cabinets every time there's a change so I know exactly that there won't be any mistakes. This has saved me so much time and headaches the 3-D renderings are a lifesaver. The cabinets come ready to be installed and was incredibly easy for me and just a huge timesaver overall. So happy I found them and happy to work with them I know I'll be with them for many years now. Top quality cabinets and they have very many different options. I love their customer service and just always have a good attitude

FAQs

Common questions, answered.

A few of the questions we hear most from designers, contractors, and homeowners.

What's the difference between your commercial and residential work?

The difference comes down to standards, codes, and materials. Commercial projects are built for durability and cost efficiency, with materials and hardware chosen to hold up under heavy daily use and meet the codes that apply to offices, medical buildings, schools, and hospitality spaces. Residential projects are typically built with higher end hardwoods, veneers, and custom finishes, with more attention to design detail and the specific tastes of the homeowner or interior designer. The same team fabricates and installs both, and every project gets the craftsmanship and shop discipline we have been refining since 1989.

How early should we bring you in on a project?

As early as possible. The best outcomes happen when we join the project during design development, before finishes, hardware, and dimensions are fully locked in. Early involvement lets us offer constructability feedback, suggest material options that save budget without sacrificing quality, and help avoid costly scope changes during construction. On residential projects, that usually means joining alongside your architect or designer during concept or schematic design. On commercial projects, we can engage as early as pre bid or schematic design, or any time before final spec lockdown.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines depend on scope, size, materials, and our current schedule. Typical projects run around four to eight weeks from approved shop drawings to completed install, though larger or more complex work takes longer. Once we complete a site walk and understand what is needed, we provide a realistic timeline as part of the quote.
